Antoine La is the Embryology Laboratory Director at CARE Fertility, bringing over 19 years of expertise in clinical embryology. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, Irvine, Antoine is a board-certified Embryology Laboratory Director (ELD) and a member of the American Board of Bioanalysts, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and the Society for the Study of Reproduction.
Renowned for his innovative contributions to fertility science, Antoine specializes in advanced reproductive technologies, including IVF, ICSI, embryo freezing and thawing, assisted hatching, and pre-implantation genetic testing. He has pioneered the development of culture mediums for successfully freezing and thawing human oocytes, contributing to 16 abstracts and publications on egg freezing.
Antoine has established and managed successful IVF laboratories across the United States, Mexico, and Brazil, excelling in laboratory design, management, and quality improvement programs. He is a recognized leader in blastocyst culture research and single embryo transfer techniques. His primary focus is optimizing laboratory systems and consulting with professionals to improve outcomes for patients facing infertility.
Specialties include micromanipulation techniques (ICSI, TESE, PESA), embryo biopsy, gamete and embryo cryopreservation, and reproductive endocrinology. Antoine is committed to advancing fertility treatments and supporting both patients and professionals in achieving their goals.
